- Valleyfield Slalom Driving Driections -
From the Northway, I-87:
Take the Northway, I-87, north to the US/Canadian boarder. In Canada, continue north on route 15 for about 42 Km, (or 25 miles), and take route 132 west to Salaberry-de-Valleyfield a distance of about another 40 Km, (or 24 miles). You can use route 30 for a while but you have to get back on 132 again before Valleyfield. Once you're in Valleyfield, turn right on Rue Stewart, just before the water mall in the center of town. Go about three blocks and turn right on Rue Dufferin and proceed as under "Location of the Race Site", below.
Take I-81, north accross the Thousand Island Bridge into Canada. In Canada, take route 401 northeast past Cornwall to Cotean Station, a total of about 120 Km, (or 72 miles), and take route 201 east to Salaberry-de-Valleyfield a distance of about another 6 Km, (or 4 miles). Once you're in Valleyfield, turn right on Rue Stawart. Go about six blocks and turn left on Rue Dufferin and proceed as under "Location of the Race Site", below.
Location of the Race Site:
Going northeast on Rue Dufferin, the race site is behind the shopping center on your right. There's a gap between the first building, which is set way back, and the next building, which is only half way back from Rue Dufferin. Go between those two building and you will be in the race site parking lot. The camping area in behind a school that's about a half a mile northeast of the race site. Go northeast on Rue Dufferin and bear right at the fork onto Rue St-Charles and look for the Nouvel Envol School on the riight.
