Salmon Slalom

Event Description:

|
The Salmon Slalom is held along Comstock Bridge Road off Route 16 near Colchester, CT. The race site is just north of the handicapped fishing access along the road on the Salmon River. The river, at this point, is class 1 whitewater. This event is a beginner level whitewater slalom race sponsored by the Atlantic Slalom Committee and sanctioned by the American Canoe Association. It is the first race of the season in the New England Slalom Series and will be run as a one day race on Sunday. Help is requested all day Friday for course set-up in order to allow a full day of practice on Saturday.
